The report focused on the interaction between universities and businesses in Russia. Collaboration with the real sector of the economy enables universities to adapt their curricula to the current industry needs, enhancing the competitiveness of students through practical experience gained during internships and work placements.

During the presentation, the results of monitoring the effectiveness of Russian universities and data from a survey of educational institution leaders conducted as part of the "Monitoring of Education Economics" project were shared. Patterns of engagement of state universities in collaboration with businesses, factors contributing to the successful monetization of university activities, and an analysis of university consortia were discussed. The positions of university leadership regarding the process of interaction with business were also examined.
